GenPresso Refund Policy

Effective date: July 6, 2026

1. Scope

This Refund Policy sets out the conditions and procedures for withdrawal and refunds for paid services of GenPresso (credit top-ups, subscriptions, and auto top-ups) provided by 주식회사 리콘랩스 ("Company", "we"). Matters not covered here follow the Terms of Service and applicable law, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of the Republic of Korea (the "E-Commerce Act").

Payments may be processed by our wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary, RECON Labs Inc.; regardless of who processes payment, responsibility for withdrawal and refunds rests with the Company as service provider.

2. Credit Top-ups

  • You may withdraw a credit top-up purchase and receive a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided none of the credits granted by that payment have been used (Article 17 of the E-Commerce Act).
  • If some of the credits from a payment have been used, the used portion corresponds to digital content that has already been supplied and is non-refundable under Article 17(2) of the E-Commerce Act; only the unused balance is refundable.
  • Refund amounts are calculated from the payment amount corresponding to the unused credits, and refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

3. Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle (monthly or annual); until then you retain subscription benefits (credits and plan features). As a rule, no pro-rated refund is provided for the remainder of the current cycle.
  • If a renewal payment has been charged and you have not used any of the credits or benefits granted for that cycle, you may contact support@genpresso.ai within 7 days of the renewal charge to request a refund of that payment.
  • If a failure attributable to the Company prevented you from using the Service, you may request a refund for the affected portion.

4. Auto Top-up Payments

Payments made through auto top-up (automatic charges to your saved payment method when your balance falls below a threshold you set) are subject to the same rules as credit top-ups in Section 2: a full refund is available within 7 days of the charge if none of the credits from that charge have been used, and otherwise only the unused balance is refundable. You can disable auto top-up at any time in your settings.

5. Non-refundable Items

  • Complimentary credits granted free of charge (sign-up bonuses, event or promotional grants, goodwill compensation, etc.) are not refundable, transferable, or redeemable for cash.
  • Credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable as described in Section 2.
  • Refunds for accounts restricted or terminated for violations of law or the Terms of Service are handled per Company policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Credit Expiry

Where the credit-expiry policy is active, credits granted by a subscription are valid for 30 days from grant, and purchased credits (including auto top-ups) are valid for 90 days from grant; expired credits lapse and are not refundable. Validity periods and upcoming expirations are shown in your credit history in the Service. Activation of or changes to the expiry policy will be announced in the Service.

7. Refund Procedure and Timeline

  • Submit refund requests to support@genpresso.ai or by phone at +82-2-2039-9195. Including the payment date, payment method, and amount speeds up processing.
  • After verifying the request, we process refunds within 3–5 business days. Depending on the payment processor or card issuer, the funds may take additional time to appear on your statement.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible; if that is not feasible, we will arrange an alternative method with you.

8. Miscellaneous

This policy may be revised to reflect changes in applicable law or Service policy; revisions will be announced in the Service or posted on this page. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory provisions of applicable law, the law prevails.
